MISSION STATEMENT
WASDEN ARCHAEOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION MISSION
Wasden Archaeological Association was founded to encourage professional scientific archaeological exploration and research at Owl Cave, Coyote Cave, and Dry Cat Cave, collectively referred to as "the Wasden site" located near Idaho Falls, Idaho. We seek to preserve, protect and enhance the historic, scientific and educational values of the Wasden site and to facilitate the preservation, conservation, analysis, storage and display of the artifacts recovered for both professional and public purposes. We aim to provide means for qualified persons to participate in research and to further their education in archaeology and related disciplines at the Wasden site. We seek to promote further education of the public on matters relating to the cultural, historical and archaeological significance of the artifacts recovered at the Wasden site and the importance of preservation and conservation of this important archaeological site.
